Stakeholder Research Associates today released new research on sustainability reporting in Canada.

Advancing Sustainability Reporting in Canada: 2019 Report on Progress outlines the findings of a review of 239 TSX Composite Index-listed companies and builds on the research conducted by SRA in 2014, 2016 and 2017.

Report highlights include:

• 71% of TSX Composite Index companies (170) are sustainability reporters
• 75% of reporting companies issue some sustainability information in their annual reports
• Reporting companies represent a 6% increase in sustainability reporters since 2016 and 30% since 2014
